About Samalova

SAMALOVA is a Dutch label born from a love for the unique prints on vintage sleeping bags from the ’80s and ’90s. We couldn’t believe that these incredible prints, once found on sleeping bags, were destined to end up in the trash and disappear forever. The fabric is not only vibrant but also warm and comfortable, sparking the idea to transform them into coats.

We transform them into fashion statements. Giving them a new life—by making them one-of-a-kind coats no one has. We believe that Style and sustainability can belong together

Our small, passionate team creates just a few coats per year. We use the original materials of the sleeping bags and turn them into fashion statments

We only work with local tailors, and everything is made within a 20 km radius of Groningen, Netherlands. So we keep the footprint very small.
